Local disabled veteran, Robert Hedrick, has been baking cookies in support of the homeless and poor for over 30 years. Robert, with support from his family, has personally baked over 100,000 cookies and donated them to several area service groups.

Individuals receiving services, meals, and companionship from Haven of Rest, Saint Bernard Catholic Church, Valor Home, Vietnam Veterans of America, and the Akron Blind Center are reminded one homemade cookie at a time that someone cares for them.

Robert regularly receives donations to support his ministry and all monetary donations are spent on baking supplies. Please consider joining in this unique ministry by donating on a regular basis. Thank you for your support and may God bless you.
